The video summary of the Future Media Lab. conference “Understanding Disruption and how it drives innovation in the media sector” is now available!
The conference, which took place on 23 April 2013, brought together approximately 125 media experts, EU policy makers and key stakeholders to work on a vision of the future media landscape in 2050 and discuss the political aspects of this outlook. It was the third Future Media Lab. conference since the think tank was launched in February 2012.
European Commission Vice-President Neelie Kroes (Digital Agenda) gave the opening keynote and media expert Michiel Buitelaar (Sanoma Media NL) and futurist William Higham (The Next Big Thing, UK) set the scene for an interactive session that was run by the European Commission’s Digital Futures project. The event closed with a video address by European Commission Vice-President Viviane Reding and a panel discussion. For more information about the event, please click here.
